Frequently Asked Questions
How far will you travel?
A 30-mile radius from Vista, CA is included in the base rate. Outside that radius, we'll quote travel time as part of your custom package.
What kind of space do I need?
Enough room to set up a lighting stand and backdrop if shooting indoors — we'll walk you through exact space requirements on your quote call. Outdoor locations work great too, no space minimum.
What happens during setup and takedown?
Setup and takedown run about 20 minutes each and are not counted against your paid session hour — that time is on us.
What if I need more than an hour?
Additional hours are $350 each, and you can add as much time as you need — just let us know when you request your quote.
Is this the same as the Headshot Day sessions?
No — Headshot Days are our twice-monthly, fixed-price, fixed-location sessions (see Headshot & Promo Days). Mobile Headshots is fully custom: your location, your timing, built around exactly what you need.
What's included in the $50 prop budget?
We can source small props relevant to your shoot (signage, branded items, simple staging pieces) up to $50 as part of your package — let us know what you have in mind on your quote call.
Do you do outdoor/on-location editorial or artistic shoots too?
Yes — if you're after something more creative than a straightforward headshot, mention it in your quote request and we'll talk through options.
